Job summary

Prisma Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support the Neuroscience Multispecialty department at Greenville Memorial Hospital. You will assist the Registered Nurse with patient care, perform basic nursing activities, and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, data collection, vital signs, and basic wound care as delegated by the RN. Attention to confidentiality and safe patient handling are essential.

Qualifications

• Education - Completion of a nursing assistant or patient care tech program.
• Experience - No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists patients with activities of daily living and turns/repositions patients.
• Provides care as delegated by the RN including non-sterile dressings and perineal care.
• Performs data collection such as vital signs and fluid intake/output; documents observations.
• Transports patients as needed and assists with fall prevention.
• Performs point-of-care testing as trained and reports lab values to RN.
