Qualifications
- One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and knowledge of clerical functions.
- Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
- Current CPR if applicable.
- Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
- Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Responsibilities
- The CNA performs direct patient care under the direct supervision of a RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
- The CNA/NA performs a variety of individualized patient care activities and related non-professional services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comforts of patients.
