Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking CNAs to perform direct patient care under supervision within healthcare facilities. You will assist with personal care, comfort, and non-professional services, following state requirements and professional standards.

Requirements include CNA certification, CPR if applicable, and meeting federal/state regulations. Positions may require health certificates and at least 18 years old, with potential part-time, contract shifts in Union City and Chico, CA.

Qualifications

• One year experience as a nursing assistant preferred.
• Certification as a Nursing Assistant per client/state requirements.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Knowledge of clerical functions.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of an RN or LPN/LVN or other licensed medical professional.
• Assist with personal care and comforts of patients.
• Adhere to relevant professional standards of practice.
