Job summary

Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is seeking a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) to join our patient care team. You will provide direct, compassionate support, take vital signs, assist with ADLs, and help document intake/output while reporting changes to nurses.

Under supervision of licensed staff, you will maintain infection control and safety, transport patients and equipment, and support the care team in a fast-paced clinical setting. CNA license and BLS required.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• California CNA License required.
• Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Take vital signs, assist with ADLs, and document measures.
• Report changes in patient condition promptly to nursing staff.
• Maintain patient rooms and assist with transport of patients and equipment.
• Ensure safety and infection control practices are followed.
• Assist in admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.
