Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in a school for nursing assistants or hold a CNA license.
• Minimum of 6 months of CNA experience or clinical exposure.
• Demonstrated desire to care for ill, aged and infirm.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to interact tactfully with residents, families and staff.
• Patience, cheerfulness and emotional stability required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine nursing care as directed by supervising nurses.
• Make rounds and administer nursing care according to policies.
• Verify resident identity before providing care or meals.
• Report missing ID bands and assist with daily tasks.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness per procedures and regulations.
