Job summary

NewCourtland Germantown Home is seeking a compassionate CNA to provide hands-on care, helping residents live with dignity, comfort, and as much independence as possible. You’ll deliver direct care based on each resident’s plan of care and collaborate with the nursing team to ensure consistent, resident-centered care.

You’ll bring PA state-approved CNA training, active listing on the PA Nurse Aide Registry, and experience in personal care or long‑term care.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Pennsylvania state-approved CNA training and competency program.
• Active listing on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry, free of abuse or misconduct findings.
• Experience providing personal care; long-term care experience is preferred.
• The ability to meet the physical requirements of the position and safely assist residents with their care and mobility.
• A team approach and willingness to communicate, help, and be someone others can count on.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care based on each resident’s individual needs and plan of care.
• Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, meals, and personal care.
• Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
• Support resident safety, comfort, dignity, and independence.
• Document the care you provide.
• Work alongside nurses and other team members to provide consistent, resident-centered care.
