Job summary

Walter Reed Post Acute is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team at a 181-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility. We offer full-time and part-time roles with day and evening shifts, daily pay, and a potential $3/hr addition if benefits are waived. An employee referral bonus is also available, with all-inclusive pay between $18-$23/hour.

Qualifications

• Must hold a current, active CNA license in the state of employment.
• Valid BLS/CPR certification is required.
• Ability to work effectively with multiple residents in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Demonstrated compassion, patience, and commitment to high-quality resident care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic resident care under the direction and supervision of licensed nursing staff in a safe, compassionate, and respectful manner.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and changing linens.
• Provide supportive care and services to ensure residents’ physical, emotional, and daily living needs are consistently met.
• Observe residents and report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to nursing staff in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment that promotes dignity and well‑being for all residents.
• Support nursing staff and the care team in delivering high-quality, resident‑centered care.
