Job summary

MARIONVALLEY is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and supervisory directions.

Responsibilities include identifying residents, documenting care, reporting changes, assisting with daily living activities, preparing for medical tests, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Must be a licensed CNA with 10th grade education; CPR preferred.

Qualifications

• Reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business materials, journals, procedures or regulations.
• Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to present information to managers and employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care per resident care plan.
• Identify residents before actions and document accurately.
• Report changes in condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Maintain accurate flow sheets, notes and charts.
• Ensure confidentiality of resident information and report security incidents.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and comfort.
• Prepare residents for tests and medical examinations.
• Assist in moving, lifting, and positioning residents.
