Job summary

Elgin Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nurse Aide to provide routine daily nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting. You will assist with bathing, feeding, dressing, and mobility while following resident care plans and policies.

You will observe residents, monitor intake, and report any symptoms or changes to the Charge Nurse. Must hold a valid Texas CNA license and have a background in long-term care preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid CNA license in Texas.
• Experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, feeding and dressing.
• Observe intake of food and report changes to Charge Nurse.
• Measure and record vital signs as assigned.
• Report incidents or changes in residents' conditions to the Charge Nurse.
