Guggenheimer Health & Rehab Center in Lynchburg, VA is hiring compassionate CNAs for full-time, part-time, and per diem roles. Shifts include day, night, and 7:00 pm–7:00 am, with competitive pay of $19.00–$21.72 per hour plus shift differentials.

Qualifications

• CNA certification in good standing in relevant state.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable, and patient-centered.
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds; physical work is a primary part of the job.
• Able to stand, bend and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to residents under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor.
• Assist residents with daily care (bathing, grooming, hygiene) and with adaptive equipment.
• Keep residents dry and manage linens per infection control guidelines.
• Assist residents with bowel and bladder functions.
• Transport residents to appointments, activities, and social programs.
• Assist with transfers and positioning for safety.
• Assist residents with ambulation and restorative procedures as instructed.
• Record vital signs and report irregularities to the nurse.
• Maintain cleanliness of resident units and care areas.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
