Job summary

Majestic Care of Toledo is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate team in providing hands-on nursing care to residents daily. The CNA assists professional staff to help residents achieve the highest level of functioning and live a normal lifestyle.

Responsibilities include aiding residents with ADL, responding to call lights, transporting residents, and reporting observations to nurses.

Qualifications

Certified and state tested as a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state employed; certificate must be active, valid, and in good standing.

Responsibilities

Perform or assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL).
Respond to residents' call lights to provide maximum comfort, safety, and privacy.
Transport residents by ambulation or wheelchair to dining, lobby, and activities.
Report significant findings to the nurse immediately.
Assist residents on admission, transfer, and discharge for smooth transition.
Safekeep residents' personal possessions.
Keep resident rooms neat and safe.
Follow proper infection control techniques.
Respect residents' rights, privacy, and confidentiality.
Re-teach residents to perform ADL skills.
Provide restorative care to prevent sores and complications.
Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement with follow-up.
