Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience: Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred).
• Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days(Required).

Responsibilities

• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety /dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Assists with ensuring hygiene, appearance, safety and nutritional needs of residents are met.
• Provides resident care and services to maintain or improve resident functional status to highest practical ability.
• Documents accurately in EMR resident's ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, and behaviors.
• Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.
