Job summary

Riverside Health in Gloucester, Virginia seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct resident care under supervision of Nursing Manager and RN/LPN. The CNA supports resident dignity, safety, and adheres to facility policies.

You will document ADL care and resident conditions in the EMR, assist with hygiene, nutrition, and safety, and ensure infection control standards are followed. Virginia CNA licensure with CPR/BLS and First Aid within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• Experience less than 1 year preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days.
• First Aid certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with hygiene, appearance, safety, and nutritional needs.
• Provide direct resident care to maintain or improve functional status.
• Document ADL care, hygiene,bowel/bladder habits and behaviors in EMR.
• Follow universal precautions and infection control standards.
