Job summary

Sumter Health & Rehabilitation in York, AL is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our nursing team on a full-time basis.

As a CNA, you will work directly with residents, assisting with ADLs, documenting vital signs, and supporting comfort, dignity, and independence. Current CNA certification is required, with shift differentials available and competitive pay based on experience.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification is required to apply.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Candidate should be compassionate and resident-focused.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and mobility.
• Take and record vital signs and report changes to the nursing team.
• Assist with transfers, repositioning, ambulation, meals, and hydration.
• Respond promptly to call lights and resident needs.
• Maintain resident comfort, dignity, privacy, and safety.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and caregivers.
• Follow infection prevention and safety procedures.
