Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Olathe, KS seeks a Nursing Assistant (CNA) for assisted living. You will provide resident-centered care, help with daily living activities, and collaborate with a charge nurse to support health and comfort.

Responsibilities include bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, meals assistance, and documenting care. Depending on location, you may assist with medications as delegated and participate in wellness programs while upholding infection control and safety

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Required CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Satisfactorily completes yearly department competency testing and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a charge nurse.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and daily living activities.
• Obtain and record vital signs and document outcomes of care and medication administration as delegated.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and participation in wellness/recreational programs.
• Follow infection prevention and PPE policies and, where applicable, assist with medication administration.

Education
