Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking a Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide resident-centered care in an assisted living/memory care setting in Olathe, KS. This part-time day shift role involves 20 hours per week, with responsibilities across daily living activities, vital signs, and basic nursing support under supervision.

You may assist with medications (as delegated), dining, and documentation, while adhering to safety policies and infection control.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED preferred, but not required.
• Minimum age of 16.
• Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in assisted living preferred.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification with the State Board of Nursing.
• Yearly continuing education credits: minimum 12 hours.
• If applicable, registered with UAP Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance.
• Assist with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing and vital signs.
• Assist with meals and hydration and create a positive dining experience.
• May administer prescribed medications as delegated by a licensed nurse.
• Document outcomes related to resident care, medication administration, behavior, activity and diet.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends and holidays; may require driving as per location.
