Job summary

Paycom - ATS is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to deliver basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The role includes assisting with adult and geriatric patients, and CNAs with validated competencies may assist pediatric populations.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe, clean environment and supporting staff in patient care. The candidate will perform venipuncture, measure vitals, operate a glucose meter and EKG equipment, and assist with mobility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Nurse Assistant certification with the State of Illinois required.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care for adult and geriatric populations.
• Assist with pediatric/adolescent care per validated competencies.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a safe, clean environment.
• Administer and document routine tasks under RN guidance.
• Take vital signs and report findings promptly to RN.
• Assist with patient mobility and transfers.
• Order/prepare labs and perform venipuncture as directed.
• Operate and utilize medical equipment safely (glucose meter, EKG, etc.).
• Adhere to infection control standards and code of conduct.
