Job summary

ScionHealth's Kindred Hospital Brea is recruiting a certified Nursing Assistant to support nursing staff in patient care and daily activities. You will assist with ADLs, monitor vital signs, document care, and help maintain a safe, clean patient environment.

The ideal candidate holds a CNA certification, CPR, and ideally six months of long-term care experience, with fluent English and reliable attendance. This on-site role offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid CNA certification in the state of employment.
• CPR certification required.
• Six months experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
• Must read, write and speak fluent English; good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional nursing personnel with patient care in assigned area.
• Support activities of daily living and personal care for patients.
• Take and record vital signs and document timely in the chart.
• Prepare rooms, admit/transfer/discharge patients, and maintain clean environments.
• Assist with feeding, mobility, and use of equipment as directed by RN/LPN.
