Job summary

UPMC Muncy Place is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant for a full-time, 40-hour position. The shift runs 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM with every other weekend and holiday rotation. A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

CNA certification and current license as required.
CPR certification and ongoing training recommended.

Responsibilities

Provide direct resident care as directed by RN/LPN, including bathing, feeding, dressing, transporting, toileting, and ambulating.
Maintain a safe and organized environment: safety checks, clean rooms/equipment, change linens, keep hallways clear.
Respond promptly to resident needs and calls.
Assist with meal delivery and feeding; refill water pitchers.
Record care in medical records per procedures.
Report changes in resident status to RN/LPN promptly.
Support with supplies/equipment to sustain care delivery.
Participate in unit activities and call-light management.
Apply and monitor restraints per protocol; offer diversional activities to reduce restraint use.
