Job summary

Aspirus Chippewa Falls Hospital in Chippewa Falls, WI is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to join our MED/SURG team. The CNA provides patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse, supporting the care team across 12-hour shifts. Hours are supplemental at 0.3 FTE, with 24 hours biweekly.

Qualified candidates will have a CNA course, High School diploma or GED, and BLS certification. Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry activation is required, with certification maintained during employment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent with CNA course completion.
• One year of CNA experience in acute care beneficial.
• BLS certification required or obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Support the MED/SURG team in daily patient care activities.
• Maintain basic patient records and report changes to the RN.
