Job summary

St. Joseph of the Pines in the Sandhills of North Carolina is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in our Health Center. You will provide compassionate care, assist with daily activities, and help maintain a safe, comforting environment.

This full-time position requires a high school diploma or GED and current CNA certification. You will work a 12-hour day shift, collaborate with the nursing team, follow care plans, and participate in ongoing education to grow

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing exceptional resident care.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Previous experience in senior living or long-term care is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality care and assistance to residents in accordance with care plans.
Perform restorative and rehabilitative procedures that promote resident independence and well-being.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests.
Observe and report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team.
Follow safety and infection prevention protocols to maintain a secure environment.
Protect resident privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and team members.
Participate in ongoing education, training, and professional development opportunities.
