Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, MD is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA-1) to join our 99-bed skilled nursing facility. You will assist residents with daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and document care provided.

Qualifications

• CNA-1 certification in Maryland.
• Experience in long-term or skilled nursing care preferred.
• Passion for caring for the elderly and vulnerable populations.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding)
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output, and other health indicators
• Report changes in residents' conditions promptly to nursing staff
• Support residents' emotional and social well-being with kindness and respect
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to deliver individualized care
• Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives
• Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires
• Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy
• Answer call lights promptly
