Mountain City Rehab Center in Frostburg, MD, is seeking a compassionate Shower Aide (CNA1/GNA) to join our team. The role focuses on resident hygiene, comfort, and well-being in a 99-bed skilled nursing setting. This full-time position offers competitive compensation and robust benefits.

You will provide shower care for residents, document care, assist with meals and transfers, and maintain infection control standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• CNA-1 (GNA) license required.
• Ability to think and work independently.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and bedside manner.
• Up-to-date identification.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• Provide bath/shower care to residents (9–10 per 8-hour shift).
• Complete skin sheets on showers and report changes.
• Document care provided accurately.
• Pass ice and water as needed.
• Assist with serving and feeding residents during meals.
• Assist with transfers from bed to wheelchair.
• Complete other CNA duties as needed, including answering call bells.
• Maintain a clean environment and follow infection control protocols.
