Job summary

Thrive Senior Living in Columbus, GA seeks a compassionate Georgia Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to safely administer medications, document with eMAR, and support residents with daily activities. You will work closely with a clinical team to provide person-centered care and uphold safety standards.

Requirements include CMA certification in Georgia, CPR/First Aid, and weekend/holiday availability. Experience in assisted living or memory care is preferred; join a team that values dignity,

Qualifications

• Georgia CMA certification is required.
• CPR/First Aid certification required or obtainable upon hire.
• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Safely administering medications following the 7 Rights of Medication Administration.
• Accurately documenting medications in the eMAR system.
• Observe residents for effects or changes and report to nurse.
• Assist with ADLs: bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility.
• Monitor and document vital signs as assigned.
• Support residents during meals, hydration, and routines.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with clinical team.
• Build meaningful relationships with residents and families.
