Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join our family medicine team in CDA. In this on-site role, you will room patients, record vital signs, and assist with injections, venipuncture, EKG testing, urinalysis, and office procedure setup/clean-up.

Qualifications include a high school diploma, active CMA certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA) and BLS, with strong English communication and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Certified Medical Assistant with active certification by AAMA, NCCT, or NHA.
• Knowledge of aseptic technique and standard precautions.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to engage in professional development.
• Previous experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture.
• Prepare rooms for in-office procedures and manage waste.
• Assist with EKG testing and urinalysis.
• Stock supplies and maintain clean environment.
