Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join the Northwest General Surgery & GI team. The CMA will room patients, record vitals, administer injections, perform venipuncture, urinalysis, and EKG testing, and prepare procedure rooms for in-office visits.

Must hold a valid CMA certification (AAMA/NCCT/NHA) and BLS, with strong English communication and teamwork skills. Prior sterilization and aseptic technique knowledge essential. "

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Medical Assistant with active certification in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and record vital signs.
• Administer injections and perform venipuncture.
• Perform urinalysis and EKG testing.
• Set up and clean procedure rooms for in-office procedures.
• Handle biohazard and sharps waste per protocol.
• Assist with specimen collection and processing.
