Recover-Care in Louisburg, Kansas seeks a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to provide routine nursing care and ensure timely, accurate med passes under the guidance of the Charge Nurse and Nursing leadership.

Qualifications

• Must have CMA certification.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Patience, tact, cheerful disposition and enthusiasm when interacting with residents.

Responsibilities

• Assists in passing medications to residents on assigned unit.
• Prepares residents for therapy, visits, religious services, etc., and transports as needed.
• Prepares and administers medications accurately and on time.
• Assists residents with proper hygiene.
• Bathe residents as assigned and encourage self-help activities.
• Follows infection control procedures when isolation is necessary.
• Charts required information each shift and presents a professional image.
