Job summary

Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton, KS, is seeking a dedicated Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our nursing team. The CMA administers medications, monitors residents, and documents health observations under the supervision of the DON.

This role offers flexible scheduling (FT/PT 6a-2p, 2p-10p, 10p-6a; PRN available) in a skilled nursing facility setting. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma and Kansas CMA certification, with prior healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current CMA certification as required by Kansas regulations.
• Experience in healthcare setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Medication administration following physician orders and facility protocols.
• Monitor resident health, document changes, and report to supervising nurse.
• Maintain clean, organized med storage and follow safety procedures.
• Provide compassionate resident support and effective communication with families.
