Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) seeks a Medical Assistant to provide patient/family centered care in the Urology department. You will assist with examinations, screenings, vital signs, and documentation for the medical record.

The role requires completion of an accredited medical assisting program, national certification (CCMA/CMA/NAHP/NCCT or equivalent) and current BLS. You will stock rooms, prepare supplies, and support clinical staff in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program, with one year of patient care experience preferred.
• Certification through AMT, AAMA, NHA, MedCA as CCMA, CMA, NAHP, or NCCT is preferred.
• Current BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient/family centered care and assist with interviews, screenings, and vital signs.
• Assist medical staff with preparation, examinations, and procedures.
• Document findings and care in the medical record per policy.
• Stock examination rooms and maintain supply areas.
