Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to support physicians in a Family Medicine clinic. You will update records, administer medications, give injections, and record vital signs while maintaining accurate documentation and patient-focused service.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety standards, and following doctor instructions to ensure high-quality care for our patients.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• At least three years of healthcare experience.
• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• CMA certification from NCCT/AAMA/ARMA/AMT/NAHP/AMCA.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient examinations and treatment under physician guidance.
• Prepare and clean treatment rooms; ensure supplies are stocked.
• Record vital signs and update medical records.
• Administer routine medications and vaccinations as directed.
• Draw blood samples and collect specimens for processing.
• Document patient information accurately per policies.
