Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
• Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers.
• Provide direct patient care, including preparing patients for examinations.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Obtain medication prior authorizations.
• Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Perform basic life support (BLS) during emergencies.

Skills

Proficiency in outpatient care practices and procedures

Experience with medication administration and understanding of pharmacology

Strong patient care skills with a focus on empathy and communication

Knowledge of anatomy to effectively support clinical tasks

Experience with phone triage and reporting results to patients
