Job summary

You will administer medications, monitor for side effects, and report observations to nursing supervisors, ensuring patient comfort and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a CMA in good standing in the state employed.
• Current CNA certification may be required, depending on state regulations.
• Experience with geriatric patients is a plus.
• Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program required.
• Orientation completion as per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications to residents accurately and per physician orders and state regulations.
• Document medication administration and maintain records.
• Monitor residents for side effects or adverse reactions and report findings to nursing supervisors.
• Provide patient comfort using available resources and materials.
• Answer patients' call lights and requests.
• Report observations to nursing supervisors.
• Complete forms, reports, logs, and records.
