Paramount Community Living and Rehab in Newton, KS is seeking a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join our Nursing team. The role focuses on administering medications, monitoring residents, and maintaining accurate health records in a caring, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; CMA certification preferred.
• Experience: Prior healthcare exposure preferred but not required.
• Certifications: Kansas CMA certification required by state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Medication Administration: accurately administer prescribed medications per protocol and document appropriately.
• Resident Monitoring: observe changes, vital signs, and report concerns to the nursing staff.
• Health and Safety Compliance: maintain clean, organized medication storage and follow infection control.
• Resident Support: provide compassionate assistance and respect resident preferences.
• Communication: collaborate with nurses, physicians, and families; coordinate care plans.
• Documentation: complete medication records, health observations, and incident reports.
