Job summary

Hearthstone Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Medford, OR is seeking a part-time Certified Medication Aide (Med-Tech) for day shift. The role involves safely administering medications under supervision, documenting outcomes, and supporting residents with compassion.

Qualifications

• Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide (MA-C) training program.
• Must hold a CNA and CMA (Medication Aide) certification in Oregon.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
• Must pass background check and references.

Responsibilities

• Safely administer medications and document outcomes.
• Observe and report changes in residents' conditions.
• Support residents' rights with dignity and respect.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of medications.
• Monitor equipment and report issues.
• Take vital signs during medication administration.
• Follow infection control guidelines and OSHA standards.
