Job summary

DT Healthcare of New Jersey is seeking a Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide compassionate, non-medical personal care to clients in their homes under RN supervision.

The role includes assisting with ADLs/IADLs, mobility, meals, hygiene, light housekeeping, transportation, and accurate documentation while maintaining HIPAA compliance. NJ CHHA certification required; English proficiency; multilingual candidates encouraged; ability to lift up to 50 pounds and travel to client homes.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; bilingual/multilingual candidates encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and ADLs/IADLs.
• Support mobility, transfers, and ROM exercises.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding and hydration.
• Provide medication reminders (no administration).
• Perform light housekeeping and errands.
• Escort to appointments and document care.
• Report changes to RN Supervisor and maintain HIPAA compliance.
