Job summary

Right at Home is hiring a Skilled Certified Home Health Aide or Companion Caregiver to support seniors in Middlesex, Mercer and Northern Monmouth Counties. You will assist with daily activities, document health data, and coordinate appointments, with options for hourly or live-in care.

The role requires NJ CHHA licensure, a valid 2-step PPD, required vaccinations, and reliable transportation. Competitive compensation and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate preferred.
• NJ Licensed as Certified Home Health Aide is a must.
• 2-step PPD.
• Physical within the last 12 months.
• MMR vaccination.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Help patients with daily activities and report data as medically necessary.
• Assist with planning doctor appointments and transportation for patients.
• Provide care both hourly and live-in, and perform facility work as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping (dusting, laundry, etc.).
• Prepare meals and assist with grocery shopping.
