Job summary

Always Best Care of Basking Ridge seeks a positive caregiver to assist a female client on a one-to-one basis in a town home in Basking Ridge. The role offers a 35-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 9am–4pm, with a competitive $20 per hour rate.

As a family-owned agency, the team provides ongoing training and strong support, including 24/7 availability from the agency owner. The position emphasizes compassionate care, safety, and respectful, non-intrusive assistance.

Qualifications

• NJ CHHA license in good standing is required.
• Evidence of MMR vaccine & negative TB (PPD or chest x-ray) is required.
• NJ Driver’s license in good standing is required.
• Ability to pass a background check is required.
• Authorized to work in the US (E-Verify) is required.
• Proficient in English with clear speaking and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with ADLs for an ambulatory female.
• Provide IADLs such as light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Create and maintain a positive, cheerful environment.
