Job summary

People's Express in Detroit is seeking a Chauffeur License Driver to transport clients to medical appointments, shopping trips, and personal events. Our riders include many seniors and disabled individuals, and vehicles are equipped with lifts for mobility devices.

A valid chauffeur license or CDL with P Endorsement is required, with a clean driving record and ability to pass a DOT drug/alcohol screening. Hours run 5am–9pm, Monday–Friday with weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid chauffeur license.
• DOT drug and alcohol screening required.
• Chauffeur's license or CDL with P Endorsement required.
• Availability of 5 days a week or 40 hours a week preferred.
• Experience as a van driver (3 years) required.

Responsibilities

• Transport clients to medical appointments, work, shopping, and personal events.
• Operate vehicles including cars, minivans, and Transit Vans.
• Assist clients, many of whom are seniors or disabled, including those using mobility devices.
• Uphold safety of passengers during transportation and ensure lifts are used properly.
