Job summary

LCMC Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician to support adult and geriatric patients in a hospital setting. You will assist with basic care, hygiene, safety, and documentation under supervision of nursing staff.

The role emphasizes teamwork, effective communication, and adherence to unit policies. Required CNA certification, high school diploma or GED, and BLS/AED certification; prior experience preferred. Evening/day shifts available.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED and CNA certification.
• Previous training and/or one year's experience in a similar role is highly preferred.
• Must have current American Heart BLS or Heart saver AED where approved.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient data collection including vital signs and measurements.
• Support hygiene, nutrition and personal care for patients.
• Document patient-related tasks and ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment and communicate effectively.
