Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provides care, comfort, and safety of assigned patients under direct supervision of nurse.
• Performs and records delegated nursing care procedures.
• Observes patients and reports reactions or changes in condition to nursing personnel.
• Assists patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, oral hygiene, etc.).
• Assists in patient mobility and turning, as needed.
• Transfers medications between areas as needed.
• Distributes patient trays and nourishments, assists with feeding, and collects trays.
• Promptly responds to patients' call lights and relays information to nursing staff.
