Job summary

The Terraces at Capitol Village is recruiting a Certified Medication Technician to join our care team. The position is available full-time and part-time with a 2pm–10pm shift and pay ranging from $16.50 to $19.00 per hour, plus Daily Pay!

The role focuses on safe, accurate medication administration and supportive daily resident care, collaborating with nursing staff to uphold safety, comfort, and dignity in a welcoming, home-like environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid state Medication Technician/Aide Certification.
• Must be a CNA or CHHA/HHA as required.
• Previous Certified Medication Technician experience required.
• Experience with oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous meds.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications safely and accurately per orders and state rules.
• Provide oral, topical, ophthalmic, and subcutaneous medications.
• Observe residents, document changes, report adverse effects.
• Assist with basic resident care under licensed staff.
• Ensure proper storage and accountability of medications.
• Maintain documentation of medication administration.
• Collaborate with nursing staff to promote resident-centered care.
