Job summary

Visiting Angels Chadds Ford is seeking compassionate caregivers to support seniors in their homes. You will provide companionship, assist with daily living activities, and help clients remain safe and independent in familiar surroundings.

Requirements include 18+ years old, a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of caregiving experience. TB clearance is required. Flexible full-time/part-time schedules with competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience preferred.
• Current TB clearance or proven TB screening is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with personal care including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping and run errands as required.
• Promote safety, comfort, dignity, and independence for clients.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients and families.

What You'll Do

As a caregiver, you'll help seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in the place they call home. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
• Preparing meals and providing medication reminders
• Performing light housekeeping and running errands
• Helping clients maintain their safety, comfort, dignity, and independence
• Building meaningful relationships with clients and their families
