At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers/PCA to provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship in clients’ homes. Responsibilities include bathing, grooming, ADLs, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility support.

The role emphasizes independence, dignity, and safety in daily living. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of personal care experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to pass background checks.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation and, if transporting clients, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Must pass criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care and companionship.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as applicable; light housekeeping; laundry.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment and support daily routines.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments and community activities when applicable.
• Offer medication reminders per care plan and support client independence and dignity.
