Job summary

Legacy Living Florence seeks a Personal Care Assistant to provide nursing and nursing-related services to residents according to each resident's plan of care. The role maintains a homelike environment, protects resident rights, and helps residents maintain independence and control to the greatest extent possible.

Responsibilities include assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, transfers, dining support, and ensuring a safe, dignified care experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in direct resident care as per plan of care.
• Ability to maintain dignity and privacy.
• Willingness to follow facility policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist with bathing, grooming and dressing as required.
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers using proper body mechanics.
• Monitor resident condition and report changes to Unit Charge Nurse.
• Maintain a clean, safe and homelike environment for residents.
• Document care and observations in resident records.
• Respond to signal lights promptly and provide timely assistance.
