Job summary

The Auberge at Onion Creek in Austin, TX is seeking a Caring Caregiver to assist residents with daily life, including personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry and activities. You will be part of the Health & Wellness Team delivering compassionate support.

This part-time, non-exempt position requires a High School diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write, basic English, and experience with elderly residents; dementia experience preferred. Certification is required by state regulations.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Skills: Basic reading and writing, and ability to speak English.
• Years of Experience: Knowledge and experience in working with elderly; dementia experience preferred.
• Certification: Certification required according to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal care, meals, housekeeping, laundry, and daily activities.
• Support behavior management, socialization, orientation and information needs.
• Deliver compassionate health and wellness support as part of the team.
