Job summary

Genesis Homecare Agency is seeking a compassionate Caregiver / Personal Care Aide in Hattiesburg, MS to assist clients with daily living activities and follow individualized care plans. You will provide companionship, monitor safety, and support basic tasks in a respectful environment.

Ideal candidates have caregiving experience, strong communication and teamwork, and are reliable with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Certification in caregiving or related training is a plus.
• Experience in caregiving, personal care, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
• Follow each client’s individual care plan to deliver tailored support.
• Provide supervision and companionship to ensure clients’ safety and well-being.
• Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medication reminders as needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and any changes in client condition.
• Foster a positive, respectful, and encouraging environment for clients.
