Job summary

Monarch Communities is a Per-Diem caregiver position in Connecticut. The caregiver reports to the Health & Wellness Director and provides resident care per the care plan, including daily living activities, meals, and social engagement.

Qualified applicants include CNAs or CHHAs, with experience caring for the elderly; dementia experience is preferred. Shifts are per-diem, hourly, and on-site, with on-the-job training and flexible scheduling options.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide credential.
• Experience with elderly population; dementia experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding as outlined in care plan.
• Maintain safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality of residents.
• Escort residents to meals and activities.
• Ensure residents are clean, neatly dressed, safe, and fed during shifts.
• Document all services provided during shift.
• Report any change in condition to supervisor.
