Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / PCAs to provide in-home, non-medical support and companionship. You will help clients with daily living activities, meal prep, light housekeeping, and mobility assistance, while promoting independence and safety in their own homes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, or similar role is a plus.
• Proof of TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform essential duties.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• If transporting clients, must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be mature, caring, punctual, and dependable.
• Must pass criminal background and fingerprint checks.

Responsibilities

• Provide non-medical personal care and companionship in clients' homes.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping tasks.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan.
• Transport clients to medical appointments and run errands when applicable.
