Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / PCAs to join our team in home care. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities, helping them maintain dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of experience, are dependable, and follow each client's care plan. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, and opportunities for growth within a supportive agency.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must pass required criminal background and fingerprint checks.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation; if transporting clients, a valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must follow the client’s care plan and work independently.

Responsibilities

• As a Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate and dependable support based on each client's individual needs and care plan.
• Personal Care: assist with bathing and grooming; toileting and incontinence care; dressing and personal hygiene; ADLs; maintain dignity and independence.
• Home and Daily Living Support: prepare meals, light housekeeping, laundry, safe environment, daily routines.
• Companionship and Support: provide companionship, encourage independence, engage socially, build respectful relationships.
• Mobility Assistance: assist with ambulation and transfers as allowed by care plan; ensure safe movement in the home.
• Medication Reminders: provide reminders according to the care plan.
• Transportation and Community Support: assist with transportation to appointments and errands when applicable.
