Job summary

At Peace Healthcare Agency is hiring compassionate Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our growing team. You will provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support to seniors and adults with disabilities in their homes.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of personal care experience preferred.
• Previous experience as a Caregiver, PCA, HHA, Home Health Aide, or similar position is a plus.
• Proof of current TB testing required.
• Must be physically able to perform the essential duties of the position.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, non-medical personal care, companionship, and daily living support per client care plan.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, toileting, and ADLs.
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding when applicable; light housekeeping; laundry.
• Provide companionship and support; encourage independence and social engagement.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers, and safe movement in the home.
• Provide medication reminders per care plan and requirements.
• Assist with transportation to medical appointments and community activities.
